Netcraft reports that web server survey from October 2007 returned over 142 805 000 sites, an increase of over 7.6 million since previous month. Such strong growth comes from MySpace, Microsoft's Live.com and Google's Blogger platforms. Apache web server is still leading the market share with 50%, but lost about 2.8% vs last month. Microsoft's share increased to almost 35%. Google web server share increased also, to 4.9%.
